You came to see Korea. You'll leave seeing yourself differently and shape your next decade.
By Invitation Only
EH Korean is not publicly open for registration. Designed for global professionals ready to understand Korea—and themselves—more deeply, each cohort is strictly limited to only six participants.
We believe the deepest experiences are shaped by the right people. Our programs are invitation-only and require a short conversation to ensure strong alignment. This allows our cohort to enjoy everything from exclusive to the most authentic glimpses of daily Korean life.
-
Structured reflection by design
-
Cultural immersion beyond travel
-
A perspective shift you will recognize as your own
Why This Exists
Korea is complex — culturally, historically, and socially.
It cannot be understood through a list of tourist destinations.
EH Korean was created to offer something different.
One week of intentional structure, deep reflection, and cultural immersion.
One week, intentionally structured.

Founders' Note
About EH
EH comes from the founder's name, EunHye — and has come to stand for something she believes in: that real cultural understanding is earned, not toured.
After more than a decade of teaching Korean professionals in Korea and international professionals abroad, I kept noticing the same pattern:
People arrived curious. They left having seen a lot. But rarely having understood anything more deeply.
I created EH Korean to change that.
What happens when we stop rushing?
Most global professionals move through new countries as busy visitors, rarely as focused observers.
EH Korean is designed for the ones who are ready to stop — and to look more carefully.
Not at Korea. At themselves, through Korea.
Six participants. Seven days. A carefully structured cultural residency.
Every hour is designed with one intention:
You leave having seen something in yourself you hadn't before.
With love,
Rachel Yi

Who This Is For
This residency is for curious explorers and thoughtful observers who:
You do not need a specific title to belong here.
You need intention.
Typical participants include:
• founders
• investors
• senior professionals
• creators and thinkers seeking perspective
"
If you are looking for tourism, this is not for you.
If you are seeking perspective, reflection,
and structured immersion —this may be for you.
"
Why Only Six Participants
Why Only Six Participants?
Most travel programs scale by increasing group size.
EH Korean does the opposite.
Limiting the cohort to six participants allows us to maintain depth, attention, and meaningful conversation.
It is a 7-day immersive residency designed for thoughtful individuals.
Beyond Observation
You will not observe Korea from the outside.
These are not excursions. They are the architecture of the week.
-
A private evening inside a Korean home.
-
A university seminar —where participants engage directly with how Korea thinks, questions, and evolves in real time.
-
A film screened the night before entering the landscape it depicts.
What Makes This Different
This is not a collection of activities.
EH Korean is structured as a four-stage learning system:
Experience → Interpretation → Reflection → Integration
Each day is intentionally designed not just for exposure,
but for understanding, processing, and personal application.
This is why the experience does not end after seven days.
Core Philosophy
Write your soul in Korean.
Journaling → Reflection
Turn 7 days into
a documented personal transformation.

What You Walk Away With
-
A numbered Ohaeng Journal (Limited Edition)
-
A personalized reflection report — generated from your journal entries and experiences throughout the residency
-
Ongoing 30-, 60-, and 90-day reflection touchpoints to help reconnect with what the residency awakened —
personal follow-up across three touchpoints after your return -
1-Year Alumni Community Access
You do not leave with souvenirs.
You leave with clarity.
Most experiences fade.
This one does not.
Because EH Korean is not designed as a one-week event,
but as a structured transformation process.
What begins during the residency
continues through a 90-day integration system —
ensuring that what you gain is not temporary,
but carried into your life and decisions.

Because what we're building is a rare, high-trust community of people who love Korea deeply, seek inner growth, and instinctively look out for one another.
Investment
EH Korean is designed as a high-level cultural residency, not a tour.
Created for a cohort of only six participants, the program prioritizes depth,
reflection, and meaningful cultural access.
The value of the residency lies not only in the week itself,
but in the perspective participants carry forward afterward.

FAQ
Q: What are the eligibility requirements for the program?
A: Since all programs are conducted in English,
a conversational level of English is required. Of course, knowing some Korean is a big plus! We also look for participants who are legally eligible to travel and, most importantly, have an open mind to embrace and respect Korean culture.
Q: Is there a tipping culture in Korea? How should I thank the staff?
A: In Korea, tipping is not a common practice and is not expected. Instead of financial tips, your warm words of appreciation mean the world to our team!
We want to ensure our staff is recognized for their hard work. On the final day, we conduct a Guest Satisfaction Survey. The staff members who receive the highest ratings will be formally rewarded by EH KOREAN. Your honest feedback is the best gift you can give us!
Q. What kinds of activities are included?
A. Participants can expect a balanced mix of:
-
Engaging Korean language sessions with professional teachers.
-
Hands-on cultural workshops
(e.g., crafts, cuisine, traditional wellness). -
Guided visits to historical and contemporary landmarks.
-
Exclusive meetings with local artisans and cultural figures.
-
Reflection and cultural dialogue sessions.
Q. Where does the program take place?
A. Centered in Seoul and its cultural heartlands, the program includes day trips and excursions showcasing breathtaking cityscapes, hidden treasures, and memorable experiences.
Q. How is this different from other study or travel programs?
A. EH Korean’s approach is deeply experiential—we move beyond sightseeing to help participants truly live Korea. Every activity is curated to foster connection, self-reflection, and appreciation for the culture through authentic interaction and storytelling.
Q. Is there an application fee?
A. No, there is no fee to apply.
Once your application is reviewed and you are officially selected for the cohort, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. This deposit confirms your participation in the residency and will be applied toward the total program fee.
The deposit is, of course, deducted from the total program cost.
Q. What is the refund or cancellation policy?
A. The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
-
60 days or more before program start: Full refund
(deposit non-refundable) -
45-59 days before program start: 50% refund
-
Less than 45 days before program start: No refund
Deposit of ₩2,000,000 KRW (approx. USD $1,400) is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Exceptional cases (such as verified medical emergencies or travel restrictions) will be reviewed individually.
Q. What type of accommodation is provided?
A. We made a deliberate choice. Rather than investing in a hotel room you'll rarely be in, we put that into what actually shapes the week: curated cultural encounters, guided reflection, and experiences that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
Your Seoul accommodation is a quiet, comfortable base. The residency is where you actually live.
And on the final night, the week earns its finale — a carefully selected luxury hanok estate in the mountains, where traditional architecture meets stillness. Our curated partners include award-winning properties such as The Hanok Heritage, recognized with a world No.1 design accolade. Not a checkout. An arrival.
Q. Who is behind EH Korean Residency?
A. EH Korean was founded by Rachel Yi — educator, cultural strategist, and your residency architect.
Every cohort of six is supported by a dedicated on-ground team: a Residency Host, Korean Language Instructor, and Facilitator Assistant — each selected for cultural depth, not convenience.
Behind them is an invisible infrastructure of operations, logistics, and a wider network of curators and local partners whose work shapes every hour — people you may never meet, but whose presence you will feel.
This is not a program run by a few. It is an experience built by many.
