  • Who can apply?

We welcome participants from all over the world who have a genuine interest in Korean culture and language. Whether you’re a beginner or have prior experience, the program caters to a wide range of learners driven by curiosity and openness.

  • How many participants are selected?

Each cohort is limited to six participants, ensuring an intimate learning atmosphere and personalized attention. This small-group format allows deeper interactions with instructors, artists, and the local community.

  • Do I need prior Korean language experience?

No prior knowledge is required. Both programs integrate language sessions, balancing study with hands-on cultural engagement.

To help participants feel more confident before arrival, online classes will be available one week in advance. These sessions provide:

  • An introduction to the program

  • Basic Hangeul (Korean alphabet) lessons

  • Details about what participants can expect during the program

  • Insights into cultural etiquette and social rules to follow in Korea

While these online lessons are not compulsory, they are highly recommended as they make the transition smoother and ensure a more enjoyable experience once in Korea.

  • What kinds of activities are included?

Participants can expect a balanced mix of:

  • Engaging Korean language sessions with professional teachers.

  • Hands-on cultural workshops (e.g., crafts, cuisine, traditional wellness).

  • Guided visits to historical and contemporary landmarks.

  • Reflection and hands-on practice sessions.

  • Where does the program take place?

Centered in Seoul and its cultural heartlands, the program includes day trips and excursions showcasing breathtaking cityscapes, hidden treasures, and memorable experiences.

  • How is this different from other study or travel programs?

EH Korean’s approach is deeply experiential—we move beyond sightseeing to help participants truly live Korea. Every activity is curated to foster connection, self-reflection, and appreciation for the culture through authentic interaction and storytelling.

The program fee generally includes:

Yes, a non-refundable registration fee is required during application submission. This fee ensures your application is reviewed and considered for selection. If you are selected, the registration fee will be deducted from your total program cost.

  • What is the refund or cancellation policy?

If you need to withdraw after full payment, partial refunds may be granted based on the notice period prior to program start:

  • 60 days or more before: 80% refund.

  • Less than 30 days: No refund.
Exceptional cases (such as verified medical or travel restrictions) will be reviewed individually.

  • Assistance with local authorities and contacting insurance providers will be provided.

  • An emergency contact list and 24-hour support hotline will be shared with all participants before departure.
